Lambretta Chair – Retro Inspired Chair Resembling the Shape of Lambretta Scooter

By looking it and its name describes it as well, we can easily find out that the designer wanted to create something that can remind us to the famous motor scooters firstly manufactured in Milan, Lambretta. It is true, that Lambretta scooter became the inspiration of Jim Plester when creating the Lambretta Chair. The materials used to create this Lambretta chair also come from the traditional scooter spare parts. We can easily find the leg shields, horn casting, badges and trim assembled together forming the shape of chair. Lambretta chair comes with various traditional the scooters’ colors and customized ones. The designer used 20 models of Lambrettas produced from 1957 to 1971, which are including the Li, TV, SX & DL/GP models.
In order to make this chair perfect, the designer took a close look to the details. Pure 100{8f84ca136fe4ee3d0efb152966be4760f81233c85aa8eb2af5a2d7318cda68e1} leather is chosen to be the main material for upholstery. This part comes with customizable option, and is finished with either leather piping or double stitching. This chair offers its users a sitting experience as if riding Lambretta scooter; and the seat mechanism that enables the user to enjoy swiveling, tilting and adjusting the height gives the users extra convenience. All those elements is supported by the aluminum base.

We use traditional lambretta components, quality leather for the upholstery, automotive quality paint and a little bit of imagination to create these unique items.
